Call for papers

There is only one format for participating to the conference: individual papers.

Paper proposals are related to one of the 3 conference topics:

1. Multimodal analysis
2. Methodological issues and video corpora
3. Applied issues: uses of video for communication with the public.

(For further information see the general presentation).

The corresponding topic is explicitely mentioned in the abstract.

Papers are allocated a 30 minutes slot, for a presentation of 20 minutes followed by a discussion of 10 minutes.

The paper will be delivered in the language chosen for the title and the abstract (possible languages : French, German, Italian, English).

Abstracts are 300 words long. Bibliographical references can be added and are strongly recommended (not included in the word count).

Abstracts specify

• the phenomenon/topic of investigation/issue tackled
• the type of video data used (setting, language, type of activity, size of the corpus, etc.)
• the methodology/analytical framework/theoretical model used
• relevant bibliographical references
• to which conference topic the paper contributes

Submission restrictions:
One participant can submit only one abstract as first/only author. However, there is no restrictions to submit more papers as second/third authors.

Appel à communication

Il n’y a qu’un format de présentation/conférence: la communication individuelle.

Les propositions de communication doivent être explicitement rapportées à un des trois axes thématiques du colloque :

1. Analyse multimodale
2. Enjeux méthodologiques et corpus vidéo
3. Enjeux appliqués : utiliser la vidéo pour communiquer avec le public.

L’axe thématique dans lequel s’inscrit la communication doit être explicitement mentionné dans le résumé.

Chaque communication occupera un slot de 30 minutes, comprenant une présentation de 20 minutes suivie d’une discussion de 10 minutes.

La communication sera données dans la langue choisie pour le titre et le résumé (langues possibles : Français, Allemand, Italien, Anglais).

Veuillez soumettre un résumé de 300 mots. Les références bibliographiques peuvent être ajoutées à ce décompte de mots et sont fortement recommendées.

Le résumé doit préciser :

• le phénomène/thème sur lequel porte l’étude,
• le type de données vidéo utilisées (situation, langue, type d’activité, taille du corpus, etc.),
• la méthodologie/cadre analytique/modèle théorique adopté,
• les références bibliographiques pertinentes,
• l’axe thématique dans lequel s’inscrit la communication.

Restrictions relatives à la soumission:
UnE participantE ne peut soumettre qu’une seule proposition de communication en tant que premièrE/seulE auteurE. Il n’y a en revanche pas de restrictions concernant davantage de propositions en tant que deuxième/troisième auteurE.

Veuillez soumettre le résumé à travers l’interface ConfTool au plus tard le 15.12.2017.

Aufruf zur Einreichung von Beiträgen

Die Tagung bietet ein einziges Redeformat : das Einzelreferat.

Die Referate müssen sich eindeutig einer der drei thematischen Achsen der Tagung widmen:

1. Multimodale Analyse
2. Methodologische Fragen und Video-Korpora
3. Anwendung : Video in der der Öffentlichkeit

(Für weiterführende Informationen verweisen wir Sie auf die allgemeine Präsentation).

Die thematische Achse, in der sich das Referat einschreibt, sollte im Abstract explizit erwähnt sein.

Jeder Vortrag erhält einen Slot von 30 Minuten, der sich aus 20 Minuten Redezeit und 10 Minuten Diskussionszeit zusammensetzt.

Das Referat wird in der gleichen Sprache gehalten, in der Titel und Abstract verfasst sind (mögliche Sprachen : Französisch, Deutsch, Italienisch, Englisch).

Bitte unterbreiten Sie ein Abstract von 300 Wörtern. Bibliographische Angaben sind erwünscht und nicht in der Wortzählung einbegriffen.

In der Zusammenfassung sollten folgende Punkte präzisiert sein:

• Phänomen/Thema, das in der Studie untersucht wird
• Art der verwendeten Videodaten (Situation, Sprache, Art der Aktivität, Grösse des Korpus, etc.)
• Methodologie/analytischer Rahmen/verwendetes theoretisches Modell
• wichtigste bibliographische Referenzen
• thematische Achse, in der sich der Beitrag einschreibt.

Beschränkung bezüglich der Einreichung von Beiträgen:
Eine Teilnehmende kann nur einen Beitrag als ErstautorIn einreichen. Die Einreichungen von zusätzlichen Beiträgen als Zweit-, DrittautorIn ist hingegen uneingeschränkt möglich.

Bitte unterbreiten Sie das Abstract über das Interface ConfTool bis spätestens 15.12.2017.

Call for Papers
La partecipazione al congresso prevede come unica modalità d’intervento la relazione.

Le proposte di contributo devono chiaramente inserirsi in uno dei tre temi del convegno:

1. Analisi della multimodalità
2. Metodologia del trattamento di corpora video
3. Ricadute pratiche: utilizzo del video a fini di divulgazione del sapere

(Per maggiori informazioni si prega di consultare la sezione “Temario del convegno”).

Il tema nel quale si inserisce la relazione deve essere indicato in modo esplicito nell’abstract.

Ogni relazione avrà una durata di 30 minuti – 20 minuti per la presentazione e 10 minuti per la discussione.

La relazione dovrà essere nella lingua del titolo e dell’abstract (lingue possibili: francese, tedesco, italiano, inglese).

Chi fosse interessato a proporre una comunicazione dovrà inviare un abstract di 300 parole (esclusi i riferimenti bibliografici, fortemente raccomandati).

L’abstract dovrà includere:
– il fenomeno/tema dello studio
– il tipo di dati video utilizzati (situazione, lingua, tipo di attività, dimensioni del corpus)
– la metodologia, il quadro analitico e modello teorico adottati
– i riferimenti bibliografici pertinenti
– il tema del convegno nel quale si inserisce il contributo

Restrizioni concernenti le proposte di comunicazione:
Un/a partecipante può proporre un solo riassunto in quanto primo/a o singolo/a autore/autrice. Tuttavia può intervenire in più riassunti in quanto secondo/a o terzo/a autore/autrice.
